Getting the Medical Panel’s opinion

For most WorkCover cases it takes around four weeks from your appointment, however it may be longer than this for more complex matters.

For Wrongs Act cases, the Panel usually provides its medical opinion within 30 days of the last appointment. If the Panel needs more time, your representative and the referrer will be told.

The Medical Panel can't reopen your matter once it has issued its opinion. If you believe there are errors, please seek legal advice.
